system, which is the longest mountain chain in the world,
stretches along the entire western side of South America. The
native people of the Andes region, descendants of the Incas, the
Chimu, the Tiahuanaco-Huari, the Nasca, the Mochica, the Paracas,
the Chavin, live much the same as did their glorious ancestors.
